The rising fuel prices and the negative effect on the environment due to
the rise in smoke belching vehicles have forced many companies and individuals
to develop green cars using the modern technology. These green cars are
run using the alternative sources of energy and are totally emission
free. These cars may be all-electric, solar-powered, plug-in hybrids
etc.

has used its flywheel booster system in the new car which allows this
eco-friendly vehicle to store energy when the driver applies
break. The energy stored by the flywheel accumulator is used by the 102
hp electric motors. The design of the new hybrid supercar is inspired
from the 908 and the 917 released by Porsche earlier.

torque. The motors in SLS AMG E-Cell are placed close to each wheel in
order to make the handling of better. According to the manufacturers,
this eco-friendly car can accelerate from 0 to 60mph in just 3.7
seconds. The car can touch a top speed of 130mph in around 12 seconds.
Mercedes has used regenerative braking mechanism in this car which
recharges the lithium-ion batteries fitted in the car. The battery pack
provides power to the car.

range of Ford Electric would be around 100 miles. The battery of this
car can be recharged using a 120-volt cord. The battery requires 20
hours for a full charge. Ford has joined hands with software giant
Microsoft to develop internet-based energy management system called
Hohm, which will offer value charging to the owners of the Ford
Electric. The seat cushions are made of eco-friendly bio-foam. The car
