Vehicle could be submerged to a depth of 10 meters under water and accelerates up to 3.7 mph on water surface and 1.9 mph under water surface. 2. Venturi Fetish

This super fast car produced by Venturi in Monaco has top speed of 100 mph and generates plenty of power when accelerates up to 0-60mph in about 5s. Car is powered using lithium-ion batteries which offer 30kWh of recharge. Torque of 162 lb ft is generated and a consistent conversion of 9.58: 1 is performed. Due to electric motor footing, torque is available for all motor speeds unlike internal-combustion-engine cars. Only a limited number of fleet is produced every year. Around 25 cars a year to satisfy Eco conscious sports car fans are produced and each car costs $500,000.

3. Citroen C-Metisse

French car maker Citroen has manufactured a new concept-car named as C-Metisse. The hybrid car was first time revealed in an auto show held at Paris. It gives same performance as a diesel or gasoline powered car. The electric mode of C-Metisse is well suited for city glide and a diesel-engine for motor ways. Depending on the conditions the car uses rear wheels, front wheels and AWD, and can attain a top speed of 155 mph.

4. The Tesla Roadster

This all-electric eco-friendly sports car has been produced by Tesla Motors. This car is believed to be the greenest sports car on the planet till date. Lotus, a British manufacturer of sports and racing cars, helped in giving a curvy, absolute, appealing structure to the car. It crosses the acceleration of 60 mph in 3.9s and can cover 244 miles of distance with a fully charged lithium-ion battery. The top speed is automatically set at 125 mph. The sports car gets 4.7 miles per kWh. The car offers a gigantic 135 mile per gallon making it 92 percent efficient. It is priced at $100,000.

5. The Lightning GT

This sports car has been manufactured by the British manufacturer Lightning. Its 36 kWh batteries manufactured by Altair Nanotech, drive the car nearly 250 miles. It is equipped with PML Flightlink Hi-Pa Drive motors which provide an excellent output of 650 hp. It accelerates to 60 mph in 4 s and can attain top speed of 130 mph. Priced at $300,000 the car has a sleek powerful body made up of carbon fiber and Kevlar.
