Volkswagen Passat CC 2013


The new Volkswagen CC will be revealed to the public in a world premiere at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show (November 18 to 27). The market launch phase begins shortly thereafter. Volkswagen will first offer the new CC in Germany in February 2012, then in stages across Europe, America, Russia, China (local version starting in 2013) and all other sales regions relevant to this vehicle class.

The final moments of Air France


Final moments of Air France 447 revealed. The ill-fated Air France flight 447, which crashed into the Atlantic ocean on June 1, 2009, en route from Rio De Janeiro to Paris, killing all 228 people onboard, had plunged at nearly 11,000 feet per minute during the final few minutes even as its pilots struggled to regain control following failure of speed sensors, French authorities revealed, Friday.

The 2 black boxes or data recorders recovered from the crash site in early May have given the investigators an insight to the dying moments of flight 447.

Elizabeth 2 and Victoria Cruiser

 Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) cruise ship is initially not very well known (at least to me) until some rich guy from Dubai acquire it and convert it onto a world-class floating hotel and resorts cruise ship. The QE2 is currently stationed at Dubai Drydocks and once the renovation is ready, the QE2 will be moved to Palm of Jumeirah. Titanic sinking 99th anniversary remembered in Belfast



 The Titanic, her crew, and passengers will be remembered in Belfast later as a ceremony takes place on the 99th anniversary of the ship's sinking.
The RMS Titanic sank on 15 April 1912 after striking an iceberg.
The disaster claimed the lives of 1,517 people.
Lord Mayor of Belfast Pat Convery and John Andrews, president of the Belfast Titanic Society, will lay wreaths at the Titanic Memorial in the City Hall grounds at 1200 BST.
